A chilly night.

Why an image of a lamp? The temperature dropped well below zero during the night in so much that the oil in the lamp on the Conservatory window sill froze solid!

Another immersion.

Yesterday two more ‘nominees’ broke the ice and braved 1.2 deg C water in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.

Breaking the ice!

Regardless of half an inch of ice two brave souls immersed themselves in the loch today in aid of a good cause and emerged very cold but unscathed!!

All money raised will be donated to MacMillan Cancer Support on behalf of Jack Calvert, colleague and friend of the two and member of Grampian Police RFC who was recently diagnosed with bowel cancer.
